Dr. Fredrick Thompson completed his undergraduate work at the University of Utah. He served in the Navy Reserves as a medical corpsman and at the Oakland Navy Hospital emergency room during Desert Storm. At the hospital he was introduced to the amazing world of dentistry and decided that this was the profession in which he could excel. In 1994 he was accepted by the Oregon Health Science University School of Dentistry from which he graduated four years later with honors and having been selected as the American Student Dental Association delegate of the year for 1997.

Dr. Fred Thompson began his practice in Bainbridge Island that same year. In 2003 he took advantage of an opportunity to move back to Oregon and practice dentistry in Gresham.

Dr. Thompson, DMD, is a graduate of the Las Vegas Institute of Cosmetic Dentistry with hundreds of hours of continuing education dealing with this subject.
