Prenatal Dairy Consumption
Researchers found out that=at babies born to women who eat cheese and dairy products during pregnancy are more likely to have better dental health than babies born to non-dairy consumers. The study published in the Nutrition Journal is believed to be the first to connect prenatal dairy consumption and children dental health. They found a strong link between cheese and dairy consumption during pregnancy and a decrease in risk for childhood dental caries. The study authors believe it is related to the calcium found in cheese and dairy products, but there is no immediate explanations to the study results.
